 Testimonials

The meals were nutritious, well balanced and delivered promptly by such fine gentlemen.  I was always greeted with a friendly smile and a brief conversation.  That means a lot to a shut-in!  It was often the only human contact that I had that day.  The home visits by the ADRC staff were pleasant and much appreciated.

First off, I'd like to say that the ADRC social worker was a very pleasant person to talk with.  They were very knowledgeable of their profession.  Our meeting lasted about 2 1/2 hours and it sure didn't feel like it.  Not only do they know their job and fully understand where I'm coming from, they also had a good sense of humor.  I have two dogs and they treated the dogs like they'd known them for a very long time.  After the meeting was over and I understood everything that we talked about, the social worker told me to expect a call in the morning regarding a decision about my case.  Indeed, they called me the next morning with the decision and it was favorable.  I know that the social worker worked hard at getting my case turned in and I really appreciate that.  There ought to be more people like that working in this field and with the general public.  Thank you!

I had to make the toughest decision in my life which was to place my mother into an assisted living.  I contacted one of the ADRC social workers and everything went as smoothly as could be.  Within a few weeks my mom was placed at the Remington House.  The ADRC social worker was absolutely fantastic to deal with-they put us at ease and handled everything.  Thank you; you were one of a kind!
