Health & Human Service - Reporting Adult-at-risk (Elder Abuse)

Adult-at-risk means any adult who has a physical or mental condition that substantially impairs his or her ability to care for his or her needs and who has experienced, is currently experiencing, or is at risk of experiencing abuse, neglect, self-neglect or financial exploitation.

To report an adult-at-risk, please contact the Columbia County Aging & Disability Resource Center between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at (608) 742-9233 or (888) 742-9233.  To report an adult-at-risk after hours, please contact the Columbia County Sheriff's Department at (608) 742-4166.
