Customers are required when obtaining real estate records online to fax a copy of their driver’s license and the completed application to the Register of Deeds office at 608.742.9875. Various drivers’ license contains colored backgrounds. 

It is suggested that when making a copy of the driver’s license you lighten it as much as possible in order that the signature and additional information it is legible when faxed.  If the faxed copy is not legible, requests will be denied.
