Aerial Photography available from both the April 2002 flight and the April 1995 flight:

2002 Flight Features: Digital orthophotography created from April 2002 flight taken at 10,000 feet producing a final product scale of 1" = 1,666. Film diapositives of the aerial photography were scanned at 15 microns resulting in digital orthophotography with a 1 foot pixel resolution, meeting 1" = 200' National Horizontal Map Accuracy Standards.

1995 Flight Features: Digital orthophotography created from April 1995 flight taken at 10,000 feet producing a final product scale of 1" = 1,666. Film diapositives of the aerial photography were scanned at 30 microns resulting in digital orthophotography with a 2 foot pixel resolution, meeting 1" = 400' National Horizontal Map Accuracy Standards.

Options Available: By tax parcel, by Section-Town-Range, overlay parcel lines, overlay section lines, overlay road centerlines, and other options available.

Global Positioning System (GPS)

4' Contours Maps

Contour lines are lines that indicate elevation. Contour lines are lines drawn on a map connecting points of equal elevation. If you walk along a contour line you neither gain nor lose elevation. These lines show the topography on the map and are shown in brown. Two types of contour lines are shown. Regular contour lines are the thinner brown lines; index contour lines are the thicker brown lines. The numbers written in brown along the contour lines indicate elevation of the line. For this map elevation is in feet above sea level.

Contour lines are useful because they allow us to show the shape of the land surface (topography) on a map. A common use for a topographic map is to determine the elevation at a specified locality. Contour lines also allow us to get a general feeling for how much relief occurs in any specified locality.
