Jailer
Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is recruiting to establish an eligibility list for vacancies occurring within the next year. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; prefer Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement or related field; prefer training or 1 year related work experience, possess jailer certification but not required. Knowledge of WI Statutes, law enforcement, ability to handle and control prisoners. Selection process includes oral interviews, background investigation, medical & psychological evaluations, drug and alcohol screenings, county residency not required. Hire rate $20.076 per hour. Division Administrator Behavior Health and Long Term Support
Columbia County has an opening for a full-time Behavioral Health and Long Term Support Division Administrator within the Health and Human Services Department. Columbia County strives to offer programs and services which are individualized, strength based, culturally competent and community oriented. Responsibilities: Administration of mental health, substance abuse, and children’s disability services; assessment of community needs; develop and administer programs/services; supervise assigned staff and provide clinical supervision; ensure compliance with standards, policies and laws; maintain statistics and prepare reports; provide training and coordinate services with other county and community agencies. Qualifications: Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college in a field directly related to the administration of human services, such as Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Human Service related field. Five (5) years of experience providing service in children’s disability, mental health or substance abuse program and three (3) years of supervisory experience. Specific experience in service provision to identified target groups and supervisory experience are preferred. Starting rate $32.715/hr. Laborer Recycling - Limited Term Solid Waste Facility
Columbia County Solid Waste is seeking individuals for Laborer positions. This is a limited term employment currently 40 hours per week. Responsible for sorting and salvaging materials related to various duties in the recycling area. Required to meet the physical requirements related to refuse and recycling material. Substitute Meal Site Manager
Columbia County Health & Human Services is looking for Substitute Meal Site Managers to fill in on an as-needed basis at the Lodi, Portage, Pardeeville, Poynette or Columbus senior nutrition program. Responsibilities include ordering, set up, prep of home delivered meals, delivery of meals as needed, assisting individuals needing help, clean-up, monitoring supplies, accepting donations and executing planned activities. Completion of Serving Safe Food training program within 6 months of hire.
