Division Administrator - Behavioral Health & Long Term Support
 Columbia County has an opening for a full-time Behavioral Health and Long Term Support Division Administrator within the Health and Human Services Department.  Columbia County strives to offer programs and services which are individualized, strength based, culturally competent and community oriented. Responsibilities:  Administration of mental health, substance abuse, and children’s disability services; assessment of community needs; develop and administer programs/services; supervise assigned staff and provide clinical supervision; ensure compliance with standards, policies and laws; maintain statistics and prepare reports; provide training and coordinate services with other county and community agencies.  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in a field directly related to the administration of human services, such as Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Human Service related field.  Five (5) years of experience providing service in children’s disability, mental health or substance abuse program and three (3) years of supervisory experience.  Specific experience in service provision to identified target groups and supervisory experience are preferred.  Starting rate: $31.530/hr. Transportation Coordinator

Full time position, 37.5 hrs/wk, with the Aging & Disability Resource Center located within Columbia County Health & Human Services. Position plans, coordinates and manages transportation services for the ADRC of Columbia County. Ability to perform a variety of moderately complex office and clerical procedures, as well as assist in grant writing.  Associate Degree from an accredited vocational, college, or technical school and a minimum of one (1) year of related office experience, OR High School diploma and a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience, OR Combination of training and experience equivalent to the above or specific to the job.  Computer experience required. Behavioral Health Program Coordinator
Columbia County is recruiting for a full time management position in its Behavioral Health and Long Term Support Division to oversee emergency mental health and substance use services.  The primary tasks of this position are to ensure that Columbia County behavioral health programs utilize a wraparound approach to providing individualized services that focus on client/family strengths, community placement, cultural competency, natural supports, teaming, and collaboration.  Knowledge of Chapter 46.56, 51, and 55 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Knowledge of DHS 34, 36, 75, 92 and 94 of the Wisconsin Administrative Codes. Knowledge of Medicaid and third party payor policies and procedures.  Minimum Qualifications: Current licensure under Wis. Stat. §457 as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, family psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, or clinical specialist in adult psychiatric and mental health nursing with 3000 hours of supervised clinical, post-masters experience. Specific experience in service provision in mental health or substance abuse treatment and supervisory experience preferred. Court Services III

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is recruiting to fill two vacancies for part-time positions providing various capacities of non-supervisory law enforcement security. These part-time positions will work an average of 18 hours per week. The hours of work will be varied during the week and may include some weekends. Main duties will consist of court security, transports, boat patrol, and maintain security of any premises which may include the Columbia County Jail, Columbia County Courthouse, Columbia County Administration Building, or any other premise or area when assigned by the Sheriff or his designee. Deputy Sheriff

The New Administration with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is recruiting for a Deputy Sheriff vacancy.  Qualifications: Minimum two-year Associate Degree or 60 credits from an accredited Technical College, College or University; a High School diploma or its equivalent; and a minimum of 18 years of age.

Requirements: State Law Enforcement Standards Board Certified or Certifiable is preferred. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. No felony or extensive misdemeanor convictions and willing to work flexible hours.
