The Columbia County Land Information Department offers outreach services in the form of demonstrations and lectures in the area of geospatial technologies, including geographic information systems and global positioning systems.

The Department has hosted both elementary and secondary school classes as well as participating in the worldwide GISDay event by hosting GIS activities at the courthouse.
