Management Information Services

The Management Information Services (MIS) Department is responsible for the daily operations of Columbia County's Information systems resources. In addition to the county's data network, the MIS department has primary responsibility over the photocopier contracts and the telephone systems (including cellular phones) contracts.

The Management Information Services Department main area of focus is service. We provide computer help desk response, application development, training, and consulting.

The mission of the Management Information Services Department is:

  • To provide effective and high quality professional information technology support to all departments of Columbia County government.

  • To empower our customers with information tools that exceeds their needs and expectations.

  • To insure that our customers are fully trained and competent in the use of their information system tools.
