E-Recording

The Register of Deeds office has the ability to accept most documents for recording electronically (e-recording). The advantages of e-recording include:

Save significant time and mailing costs versus manual paper-based processing.

Receive your recording information electronically after the document has been processed, usually the same day.

Get notification of rejected documents immediately so they can be addressed and corrected faster and more efficiently than waiting for them to come back by mail.

Can submit documents anytime, even if the Register of Deeds office is closed.
