To see if you are currently receiving a lottery credit on your tax bill, check the line containing the words “Lottery and Gaming Credit.” If there is a dollar amount listed in the current year tax column then you are already receiving the credit.
If there is 0.00 amount listed and the property meets the requirements, you will need to complete this application
LC-300. Mail the application and a copy of your tax bill to the address at the bottom of the application by October 1st. Also complete this application LC-100 to receive the credit on your 2019 tax bill. This application needs to be mailed to the Columbia County Treasurer’s Office.
If your property did not meet the eligibility requirements on January 1, 2018, but does meet the eligibility requirements on January 1, 2019, you will need to complete this application LC-100 . Mail the application to the Columbia County Treasurer’s Office.
The credit will remain on the parcel until the LC-400 is completed to remove the credit.
Important to Remember! Only property that you personally own and use as your primary residence on January 1 of the year of the tax bill qualifies for lottery credit.
Can’t find your bill? Click here for Ascent Land Records. Use the drop down box to pick your Municipality and enter the last name or business name on the parcel. (You don’t need to fill in all of the boxes) Change "Select Details" of Taxes. Then click on the tax year you want next to “Print Tax Bill”.
