5 Year Strategic Plan

The Department’s 5-Year Strategic Plan began in 2014 and was developed by staff to address the following strategic issues:

Department Culture: How can we promote a Department culture that is positive, built on trust, supportive and genuine?

Communication: How can we communicate effectively?

Collaboration with all partners:  How can we collaborate with partners to best leverage our collective resources to serve the public better and more efficiently?

Space Issues:  How do we provide a building that protects the confidentiality of information, provides for safety of staff and  visitors, has adequate space for growth, promotes interaction between Divisions, is trauma-sensitive (welcoming), and child/family friendly?

Customer Service:  How do we most effectively meet our consumers’ needs to provide them with the best possible outcome?
