2025 Prevent Suicide Scholarships

Prevent Suicide Columbia County is pleased to be offering scholarships to high school seniors who are planning on pursuing higher education in a mental health field and/or has been impacted by suicide. The mission of Prevent Suicide Columbia County is to prevent suicide through awareness, education, collaboration, and improved access to mental health care, and to support those who have lost a loved one to suicide. By providing funding for students, we can promote the next generation of mental health providers.

Applications must be received by end of day on March 1st, 2025, to receive full consideration. Scholarship recipients will be announced on April 1st, 2025, via email.

2024 Scholarship Recipients

The mission of Prevent Suicide Columbia County is to prevent suicide through awareness, education, collaboration, and improved access to mental health care, and to support those who have lost a loved one to suicide. By providing funding for students, we can promote the next generation of mental health providers and support those impacted by suicide.

We had seven amazing applicates and it was not an easy decision for the committee. The decision to not select an applicant was not a reflection of their worth or value of their efforts, and we hope they will continue to inspire change and make contributions to the mental health of their community.
