Are you interested in helping with suicide prevention efforts? There are many

opportunities available to make an impact.

Thank you for your interest in getting involved with the Prevent Suicide Columbia County (PSCC) Coalition.

PSCC Coalition meetings are held monthly and generally take place at the Columbia County Health and Human Services Building in Portage. All are welcome to attend who want to know more about this initiative and help reduce suicides in Columbia County. QPR Train the Trainer 

Learn how to be a QPR trainer and provide trainings in your school, agency, or community. Teach three simple steps to prevent suicide: Question, Persuade, and Refer. 8-hour training. $495 per person, includes training, materials and 3-year certification. Find out if you qualify for our Prevent Suicide Columbia County QPR Instructor Scholarship, here. If you qualify and receive the scholarship, PSCC will cover the cost of your QPR Trainer Certification Course. To be considered for a scholarship, please be sure to complete page three and return to Columbia County Health Department
