Recording Fees for Deeds, Mortgages, Land Contracts, Satisfactions, etc.: $30 per document regardless of the number of pages.

Note: the first page must have a 3x3 blank recording area in the upper right hand corner; otherwise add a cover page.  Copies of the above-filed documents are available for $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page. An additional $1 is charged for a certified copy.

Plat Recording Fees:

Subdivision Plats: $50 regardless of the number of pages or lots.

Cemetery Plats: $50 regardless of the number of pages or lots.

Condominium Plats: $50 regardless of the number of pages or units.

Transportation Project Plats: $25 per plat (each plat is one page).

Copies of the above-filed plats are available for the following fees: $5/page of a plat size copy; $3/page of a condo plat.

Transfer Fees: A transfer return with fee or exemption is required for all conveyances EXCEPT for exemption 1 (which is for conveyances occurring prior to October 1, 1969). The current rate is $3.00 per $1000 of value rounded to the next higher hundred. Valuation must be shown even if the transaction is exempt from fee.
