The County’s email domain has changed to @columbiacountywi.gov.  Please update any email addresses used to send invoices.  For example, ap@co.columbia.wi.us has changed to ap@columbiacountywi.gov.


ACH PAYMENT SCAM

Columbia County was infiltrated by a phishing scheme.  If you receive an email with the subject 'Payment Advise' with a payment attachment, please disregard.  This is not from Columbia County.

PURCHASE ORDER/BIDDING SCAM

As a vendor, you may receive fraudulent purchase orders and bid notices from a scammer claiming to be Columbia County Government.

As a precaution, we recommend you take the following steps:

  1. Verify the documents came directly from Columbia County
  2. a.  Look up phone numbers
    b.  Verify the shipping address - on our website we have department addresses listed
    c.  Email our AP division for verification or call
  3. Compare the information on the documents to your customer records for Columbia County
  4. a.  Contacts
    b.  Addresses
    c.  Email addresses

VENDOR INFORMATION

Welcome to the Columbia County vendor information page.  Here you will see any open bids & proposals, register on Onvia DemandStar to be notified of any future bid opportunities and sign up to receive invoice payments through direct deposit.

Direct Deposit of Vendor Payments (ACH Credits)

As a vendor, you can choose the option of receiving your invoice payments through ACH (Automated Clearing House).  Our payment to you will be deposited directly into an account specified by you.  Visit the Direct Deposit of Vendor Payments page for more information.

Vendor Registration

To ensure notification of future bid opportunities with Columbia County, vendors must be registered.  It is the bidder's responsibility to register with Columbia County via DemandStar to receive future amendments, questions, revisions, etc., prior to bid/proposal opening.

Your subscription offers your company a number of important benefits:

Important note:  Vendors must select commodity codes after registering with DemandStar.  You will receive an email notification for each bid/quote, logged by a WAPP agency, referencing the commodity codes you have selected.  Additionally, you have the ability to search for bids/quotes logged by a DemandStar agency.
