It is recommended to search several different ways for each property, such as by both a “quick search” (party name), and an “advanced search”, (combination of legal description and other pertinent information).

Images:  The images are authentic reproductions of the actual document and the quality is usually good.  However, blue or light-colored ink used on original documents will not reproduce well.  A few older documents may be illegible since there was no requirement for legibility until 1997.

Wall dates: Documents are recorded in the order presented.  When recording is complete, the image is available.  The documents will be indexed and verified.  This process is typically complete within 3 days of recording.  There are occasional exceptions due to equipment failures and high recording volumes. 

The index is not construed to be true and complete; rather it is a working index subject to error, omission and future modification. This website contains information on documents, notices of Federal Tax Liens and other lien documents that are not identical in content to documents presented to this office by the IRS and other clientele. Therefore, the results of a search of this indexing system cannot be relied upon in judicial or administrative proceedings related to title or transfer of property, including but not limited to searches relative to sales of property and foreclosure proceedings, in determining ownership interests in property on which a Notice of Federal Tax Lien and other documents attaches. Official certified copies of recorded documents may be obtained only from this office for which the search was conducted.
