Do you have a large special event traveling along Columbia County roadways? If so, you will need to apply for a permit allowing highway access for special events. The permit pertains to newly enacted Columbia County Ordinance Section 9.11 (Highway Access for Special Events Regulations).
A special event could involve large groups such as benefit bicycle rides, motorcycle poker runs, or tractor parades. Any activity that could impede the normal and safe flow of traffic will require a permit.
