Evergreen: Norway Spruce (picea abies):  Growth-Medium to Fast growth; Height 40-60’.  This is the fastest growing of the spruces. -Soil Type-Grows on a wide variety of soils, including sandy soils. Has some drought tolerance. -Sun-Full sun is the ideal condition. -Other-Is a familiar site in the US, but really a tree of Europe.
