What can I expect from this program?
Families and caregivers can participate in Growing Great Kids/Growing Great Families and can expect:
- Growing Great Kids
- One-on-one visits with a nurse that can begin at any point between the prenatal period through 36 months of age. Visits typically will occur every 2 weeks and can transition to monthly visits after the program has been introduced.
- Flexible topics based on child’s age and development through fun activities and demonstrations.
- Education and support on topics such as attachment and self-regulation, social and emotional development, cues and communication, brain development, physical development and learning through play, and basic care.
- No out-of-pocket cost to participants
- Growing Great Families
- One-on-one visits with a nurse. Growing Great Families can be added to Growing Great Kids visits or can be done on its own. Can begin at any time through 10 years of age. Visits typically will occur every 2 weeks and can transition to monthly after the program has been introduced.
- Topics include family strengthening, relationship building, stress management, and parenting.
- No out-of-pocket cost to participants
