The Economic Support Division provides access to and eligibility for public assistance programs to promote healthy and productive lifestyles among county residents.
Low income services include economic support programs which are designed to assist people in meeting basic living and health care needs. Each program may have income and asset limits which can vary with family size. There are also non-financial elements which need to be verified at the time of application. Programs include: FoodShare, ChildCare, Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus Medical Assistance programs and SSI Caretaker Supplement (CTS).
