Activities Coordinator

Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.

The ADRC of Columbia County is looking for engaging and friendly individuals to facilitate activities at our Senior Dining Centers. Call Bingo on our scheduled Bingo days, or bring your own activity to enjoy with those who frequent our dining centers.

Dining Center Assistance

1-5 days per week, Mondays-Fridays.
8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Assisting with daily dining center functions such as prepping for home-delivered meals to be packed, packing home-delivered meals, setting tables for congregate diners, serving congregate diners, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.

Grapevine Production

Once every 2 months
8:00 AM-11:00 AM
Our Grapevine Newsletter goes out to about 1,800 Columbia County residents bi-monthly with articles from ADRC staff, local resources, and our monthly nutrition program menus. To accomplish this, we work as a team of staff and volunteers one morning every 2 months to prepare for mailing.

Home-Delivered Meal Driver

1-5 days a week
9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Work with other volunteers and staff members to pack and deliver Home-Delivered Meals (HDM). Each dining center location services the area directly around them, with 10-20 meals delivered per pre-determined route.

Prevention Program Facilitator

Once a week for 6-8 weeks
Varies

Attend a paid for training course to teach you how to facilitate one of our prevention programs. Work with ADRC staff to schedule your class. Facilitate the prevention program 1 to 2 times a year.
