                If tax payment is late, the whole tax bill is delinquent and subject to interest & penalty

**Columbia County will be foreclosing on any unpaid 2022 real estate property taxes in 2026**

Starting on May 1, 2026 there will be a $60.00 foreclosure fee per parcel applied 

Starting on June 1, 2026 there will be a $225.00 foreclosure fee per parcel applied

Payment Options for Delinquent Taxes:

1. Pay online with credit card or echeck. Note: Additional fees are charged by   
Point & Pay. Click here for instructions on how to pay taxes online.

2. Mail payment to County Treasurer's Office: PO Box 198, Portage, WI 53901.

3. Pay in person at the County Treasurer's Office: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.
