The Land & Water Conservation Department, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, has taken an active part in controlling the spread of and preventing damage by Gypsy Moths in past years. Several areas where the moths have been located in destructive numbers have been sprayed. These are not to be confused with the tent caterpillars or the fall webworm.
