🌳 2026–2027 Columbia County Tree Sale Program
We’re excited to announce our new season will be opening soon!! We will be taking orders soon for oyr annual Tree Sale Program! The new season will be open the middle of November. If you are on our mailing list, you should receive your new Tree Order form and information in the mail by the 2nd week of November. Each year, Columbia County Land & Water Conservation Department offers trees and shrubs at significantly reduced prices to support conservation efforts across our community. We sell over 50,000 trees and shrubs yearly!
📦 What’s Available / New
- Trees and shrubs sold in bundles of 25: you can also find the list of tree species below!
- New and returning varieties this year include:
- Hardwoods: Paper (Canoe) Birch
- Shrubs: Chokeberry (Black), and 2nd year for New Jersey Tea and Dolgo Crabapple
- Supplies sold individually, and we have added to our yearly supply list:
- Nutro Pro Tree Fertilizer Packets that were new last year!
🗓️ Important Dates
- February 1, 2027: Early orders help secure inventory
- April 9, 2027: Final day to place orders
- April 22, 2027: Tree pickup at Columbia County Fairgrounds, Portage, WI
💳 Payment Options
Please note: Cash is not accepted. We offer three convenient ways to pay:

- Phone orders using credit/debit card
- Online orders via our E-store (PayPal)
🚚 Pickup & Distribution
- All orders must be picked up on Thursday, April 22, 2027 at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Portage, WI (weather permitting)
- No shipping available
- If you’re unable to pick up your order, please contact us immediately to make alternate arrangements
- No refunds for missed pickups
🌱 Additional Notes
- Tree seedlings are sourced from reputable nurseries, but survival cannot be guaranteed due to environmental factors beyond our control
- If you placed an order, you’ll receive a confirmation letter the first week in April.
